Westmont welcomes realestate.com.au Property Platform
Boutique real estate firm Westmont Real Estate has played matchmaker, introducing Australia’s leading property site realestate.com.au to the PropConnect platform, which the property site has now acquired. The PropConnect platform is an online property reservation and transaction management system designed to support Developer and Project Marketer customers.
Launched recently as realestate.com.au Property Platform, this powerful online inventory management system allows developers and property marketing agents to easily manage and distribute property information throughout their sales network. The platform can manage the end-to-end sales process, with the status of a sale visible all the way through to settlement.
While developers and project marketers can store all their property information in the one place, they can also control who sees certain data by implementing a range of user levels, including individual apartment or block of land allocations to individual sales contacts. Other features of the platform include real-time reservations, sales and investment reporting and mobile apps for both Apple and Android devices that allow users to access data on the go.
Users will also benefit from the Property Platform by accessing real-time information about the property including pricing, floor plans, specifications and buyer-tailored investment reports.
Commenting on the acquisition in a recent media release from the REA Group, CEO Tracey Fellows said: “We trialled the Property Platform with a number of our customers and they loved how easy it was to see which properties are available, manage stock, and oversee the entire sales process. Knowing which properties are available and being able to reserve properties in real time helps ensure buyers don’t miss out on the property they want and makes it easier for property developers to secure the sale. We’re really excited to bring this technology in-house and deliver even more value to our customers.”
Westmont Real Estate’s Managing Director, Bruce Barron said: “Westmont had been a customer of the PropConnect platform for several years so we understood its innovation potential. When PropConnect asked us for help to take their platform to the next level, we immediately thought of realestate.com.au and our industry relationships enabled us to connect the two companies.”
“This is the sort of project that makes Westmont different from traditional commercial real estate agents. Our focus is on building long-term relationships and because we get to know our partners, we can help them identify new opportunities and forge new alliances,” he said.
Westmont was engaged by PropConnect to help expand the reach of its technology platform.
